The Hydac RFLD Series is a cast iron duplex filter assembly suitable for various low-pressure liquid filtration applications.  The cast design is compact and includes duplex filter housings, a bypass valve, clogging indicator ports and a transfer valve.  

The duplex filter housings are operated with one in service and one on standby.  When the clogging indicator alerts that the active filter is ready to be changed, the standby filter is put into service with a simple quarter rotation of the transfer valve handle.  This configuration is advantageous when a system cannot be shut down quickly for filter changes, such as machine lubrication and hydraulic power applications.
